Yumiko Shinohara is a former singer-songwriter from Kagoshima Prefecture, born on February 1, 1984. She began playing guitar at the age of 14 and joined the girl band CHEE'S in January 2001 after being scouted while performing in Fukuoka. In CHEE'S, she served as the guitarist and vocalist. After the band disbanded, she returned to Kyushu to live a normal life while working part-time. In 2003, she moved to the UK to study language and later attended a local university.
