Yūji Yamamoto (January 17, 1903 - April 7, 1945) was a Japanese naval officer who served as a senior staff officer under the battleship Yamato in the Second Fleet. He was a graduate of the 51st class of the Imperial Japanese Naval Academy and the 32nd class of the Naval Staff College. Yamamoto died in battle during the Battle of Baonoseki, part of the Okinawa Campaign, with the final rank of Rear Admiral.
