Yūji Katō (August 1, 1932 - November 11, 2003) was a Japanese museum scholar and udon researcher. He graduated from Kokugakuin University and became an associate professor and then a professor at the same institution, where he earned a doctorate for his research on museum studies and history. Katō served as the director of the Kawasaki City Civic Museum and was well-known for his deep knowledge of udon, earning the title of udon doctor.
