Yoshitaka Komatsu (April 1, 1906 – February 7, 2000) was a Japanese economist and socio-economic historian. He was the representative director of the Society for Socio-Economic History in 1960, a member of the Japan Academy in 1983, and received the Nikkei Business Book Culture Award in 1979. Komatsu was known for his research on British economic history, particularly the Industrial Revolution, and his writings include works on the English agricultural revolution, the rise and fall of feudalism in England, and the lives of industrialists during the Industrial Revolution.
