Yoshio Inoue (September 3, 1908 - April 25, 1945) was a Japanese detective fiction critic and translator. He is known for introducing numerous overseas works of detective fiction to Japan during the 1930s, which is regarded as the golden age of genuine mystery literature. Inoue is considered one of the most distinguished critics of detective fiction in pre-war Japan.
