Yoshihiro Kitamura, born December 11, 1960, is a Japanese physician and medical researcher. He holds a doctorate in medicine from the University of Tokyo (1989). Kitamura serves as a specially appointed professor at Nippon Medical School and Nagano University of Health and Medicine. He is the brother of Seiji Kitamura, who is an emeritus professor at the University of Tokyo.
