Yōji Naruto, born on October 16, 1938, was a Japanese actor whose real name was Shigeru Matsunaga. He is notable for being one of the first Japanese individuals to assist Ghanaian entrepreneur Tony Justice when he pursued a career in acting in Japan, providing him support and job-seeking advice. Naruto's influence extended beyond acting, as he was involved in community efforts through the African restaurant Noviniye in Sagamihara and children's food initiatives in Yokohama. He also served as the chairman of the African Heritage Committee NPO.
