Yingtao Wu (July 18, 1916 – October 6, 1971) was a Taiwanese writer, folklorist, and translator from Taipei, Taiwan. Educated at Taipei Commercial School, he lived in Hong Kong before the end of World War II, publishing poetry in Chinese and Japanese. After the war, Wu continued to write and was one of the few Taiwanese authors of his generation fluent in multiple languages. His notable works include 'Taiwan Folklore' and 'Taiwan Proverbs'.
