Yıldırım Türker is a Turkish writer, poet, playwright, and theater translator born on August 24, 1957, in Ankara. He graduated from Robert College and completed his education in Urban and Regional Planning at the Middle East Technical University. Türker worked as a dramaturg for Istanbul City Theatres and wrote for magazines Express and Öküz. He served as a jury member at the 26th Istanbul Film Festival in 2007 and had regular columns in Radikal newspaper until leaving in August 2012. In January 2020, he published 'Bahçe - Güzellemeler' through Karakarga Publishing.
