Yasutarō Uematsu (December 1, 1916 - May 6, 1981) was a Japanese poet, businessman, and Buraku liberation activist, also known by the pen name Jun Yurizaki. He was a member of the Japan Asia-Africa Writers Conference, the Shin Nihon Literature Association, and the Latin America Action Committee. Uematsu presided over the quarterly magazine 'Genshi Jin', was a former member of the Japanese Communist Party, and had a history of receiving acclaim in the Buraku Liberation Literary Awards.
