Yang Yung-wei is a Taiwanese judoka born on September 28, 1997, in Shizi. He won a silver medal in the 60 kg weight class at the 2020 Summer Olympics, marking Taiwan's first Olympic judo medal. Additionally, he secured third place at the 2018 Asian Games and earned silver medals at the 2019 Asian-Pacific Judo Championships and the 2020 Judo Grand Slam in Düsseldorf. In 2022, he triumphed at the Grand Slam in Antalya, claimed bronze at the Asian Championships and 2022 World Championships, and competed in the 2023 Asian Games and World Championships.
