Yang Young-ja is a retired South Korean table tennis player born on July 6, 1964. She won gold medals in women's doubles at the 1987 World Championships and the 1988 Summer Olympics with partner Hyun Jung-hwa. After the 1988 Olympics, she retired from competitive play and currently resides in Seoul, where she works as a table tennis coach responsible for South Korea's junior team.
