Xu Peng (August 1926 - June 24, 2012) was a Chinese classical philologist and professor at Fudan University's Department of Chinese. He served as the head of the department and was the former director of Fudan University Library. Xu was also a representative in the 6th, 7th, and 8th National People's Congress, contributing to the academic and legislative fields in China.
