Xie Ye, born on July 4, 1958, in Beijing, was a Chinese poet and writer known by the pen name Lei Mi. She was the wife of the contemporary Chinese poet Gu Cheng and made contributions to Chinese literature during her lifetime. Xie Ye's work is recognized within the context of modern Chinese poetry, reflecting the vibrant literary movements of her era. Tragically, her life ended on October 8, 1993.
