Xavier de Scitivaux de Greische was a French military officer, born on August 2, 1910, in Rosnay, Indre. He enlisted in the navy before the war and served as a pilot at the onset of World War II. Refusing to accept defeat, he joined the Free French Forces, participating in the desert war and bombarding campaigns on the western front. After his military service, he was demobilized and took on the role of business manager. He passed away on March 13, 1978, in Fréjus.
