Władysław Jania was a Polish sculptor born on August 8, 1913, in Słomka (Mszana Dolna). He studied under Xawery Dunikowski and later became an assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Jania is known for his sculptural works, including the monuments of Jan Kochanowski in Zwoleń and Sycyna, as well as a statue of Janusz Korczak in Warsaw. He passed away on March 22, 2008, in Warsaw.
