Willem 'Wim' de Vries Lentsch, Jr. was a Dutch sailor born on June 20, 1914, in Amsterdam. He competed for the Netherlands in the 1948 Summer Olympics, where he served as helmsman on the Dutch Swallow St. Margrite, finishing in 11th place. In the 1952 Olympics, he again acted as helmsman, this time on the Dutch 5.5 Metre De Ruyter, alongside crew members Flip Keegstra and Piet Jan van der Giessen, securing 13th place. He passed away on January 27, 2007, in Amsterdam.
