Wilson de Queirós Campos was a Brazilian merchant, economist, and politician born on February 24, 1924, in Brejo da Madre de Deus. He served as a senator and federal deputy for the state of Pernambuco. His notable contributions to the region were recognized by naming the training center of Clube Náutico Capibaribe after him. His son, Carlos Wilson, later became the governor of Pernambuco from 1990 to 1991. Campos passed away in Recife on June 5, 2001.
