Edwards Deming, along with Reality Therapy and Choice Theory. His innovations emphasized personal choice, personal responsibility, and personal transformation in individual counseling, school environments, and workplaces. Glasser challenged traditional psychiatrists who treated mental disorders as 'illnesses' needing medication, advocating instead for understanding individual's unhappiness as a lack of meaningful personal connections and promoting mental health education.
