Wendy Marjorie Edmond, born on April 27, 1946, is a former Australian politician who served in the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Before her political career, she worked as a nuclear medicine technologist and was active in various organizations, including Amnesty International. She was a member and president of the Labor Party's Rainsworth Branch. Elected in 1989 for Mount Coot-tha, she was appointed Minister for Health in 1998, later adding Women's Policy to her portfolio. She retired from politics after the 2004 state election.
