Wei-Min Hao is a Taiwanese-American atmospheric chemist and climatologist, born on April 7, 1953. He currently works for the United States Department of Agriculture and has made significant contributions to climate science. His efforts were pivotal in the awarding of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. In addition, he is associated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and is an author with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). His work focuses on atmospheric chemistry and its role in climate change.
