Wang Chaowen (April 18, 1909 – November 11, 2004), originally named Wang Zhaowen and also known by pen names such as Wen Shi, Liao Hua, and Xi Si Ke, was a prominent figure from Hejiang, Sichuan, China. He was a theorist, aesthetician, sculptor, and art educator in the People's Republic of China. Wang was one of the pioneers and foundational figures in Marxist literary theory and aesthetics within China.
