Voldemar Johannes Telling (August 12, 1903 – February 27, 1969) was an Estonian politician and nature conservationist with a background in pedagogy. He was instrumental in establishing a network of nature reserves in the Estonian SSR, protecting various natural objects, and initiating the celebration of Nature Conservation Day on the second Sunday of May. He also introduced the oak leaf symbol and founded the organization 'Teadus'. His contributions significantly advanced nature conservation efforts in Estonia.
