Võ Văn Ái (19 October 1935 – 26 January 2023) was a notable Vietnamese poet, journalist, and human rights activist known for his expertise in Buddhism and Vietnamese history. Residing in Paris since the 1950s, he founded Quê Me: Action for Democracy in Vietnam and served as President of the Vietnam Committee on Human Rights. Ái was the Director of the International Buddhist Information Bureau and the Overseas Spokesman for the banned Unified Buddhist Church of Vietnam. He was influential in human rights advocacy, contributing to various international reports and testimonies.
