Vladimir Yakovlevich Potemkin (January 12, 1939 – October 2, 2015) was a Soviet and Russian civil aviation pilot. He served as the head of the Flight Service of MGA and was the commander of the separate 235th flight squadron. Potemkin was a distinguished pilot of the USSR and notably served as the personal pilot for Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and Russian President Boris Yeltsin.
