Vladimir Kitin was a Soviet footballer and coach, born on December 31, 1937, in Voroshilovsk and passed away on June 22, 2011, in Stavropol. He played as a midfielder, primarily with Spartak/Dynamo Stavropol from 1958 to 1966, and briefly with SKA Rostov in 1961 and Torpedo Taganrog in 1962. Kitin had coaching roles in Dynamo from 1967 to 1994 and served as acting head coach in 1991. He contributed to the development of young players at Dynamo and hosted a memorial tournament in Stavropol.
