Vladimir Khodzhabekyan was an Armenian economist born on March 2, 1929, in Chakharlu, New Bayazet Province, Armenian SSR, USSR. He became a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Khodzhabekyan earned his Doctor of Economics degree in 1976 and was promoted to the position of professor in 1977. He made significant contributions to economics in Armenia and is recognized for his academic achievements until his death in Yerevan, Armenia, in 2012.
