Vladimir Leontyevich Ivanov, born on April 26, 1936, in Kamenskoye, Ukrainian SSR, is a Soviet and Russian military leader. He served as the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces from 1992 to 1996 and was the chief of the Plesetsk Cosmodrome from 1979 to 1984. A Colonel-General since 1989, Ivanov earned a Candidate of Technical Sciences in 1984 and a Doctor of Military Sciences in 1992. He was named a Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation in 2023.
