Vladimir Mihailovich Golosuev (August 9, 1946 – December 12, 2001) was a Soviet and Russian checkers player and referee, awarded the title of Grandmaster of the USSR in 1991. He became the vice-champion of the USSR in Russian checkers in 1963 and was a two-time champion of the USSR in correspondence games. Golosuev served as a category judge and was a long-time editor of the checkers section in 'Leningradskaya Pravda,' contributing several books on checkers theory and history.
