Vladimir Yuryevich Dmitriyev (January 18, 1940 – July 7, 2013) was a Soviet and Russian film scholar and archivist, recognized for his significant contributions to film preservation. He won the State Prize of the Russian Federation in 2006 and served as the first deputy general director of the Gosfilmofond. Dmitriyev was also the founder, inspirer, and artistic director of the archival film festival 'Belye Stolby.' In 1998, he was honored as a distinguished cultural worker of the Russian Federation.
