Vladimir Maksimovich Bogomolov (1924-1999) was a Russian Soviet writer, playwright, and essayist. He graduated from the Higher Party School in 1958 and was a member of the Communist Party. Bogomolov served as the director of the Lower Volga Publishing House from 1964 to 1969, head of the culture department at the newspaper Volgogradskaya Pravda from 1969 to 1976, and as the responsible secretary of the Volgograd Writers' Organization from 1976 to 1985. He was also a member of the board of the Union of Soviet Writers of the RSFSR.
