Vladimir Arsenyan was a Georgian and Soviet wrestler born on August 10, 1934, in Tbilisi. He was a prominent athlete in the Soviet wrestling scene, becoming the Soviet Union champion in 1957 and winning multiple medals in the following years, including second place in 1960 and third place in 1958. He was also the champion of the II Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in 1959 and won a bronze medal in the International Youth Sports Games in 1957. He earned the title of Master of Sports in the USSR in 1957.
