Viv Lumsden is a Scottish newsreader and television presenter born on November 22, 1952, in Edinburgh. She is known for her tenure on the STV Central news program, Scotland Today, and BBC Scotland's Reporting Scotland. Her early career included roles as a traffic reporter and a BBC Breakfast Time newsreader. Lumsden hosted the coverage of the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival and presented her own chat show, Viv on Sunday, in the early 1990s. She also contributed as a restaurant critic and is involved with the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.
