Vitus Husek, also known as Vitus Gesser, is a German slalom canoeist born on February 2, 1973, in Augsburg. He was active in international competitions from 1990 to 2000. Husek achieved notable success, winning a gold medal in the C1 team event at the 1995 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships held in Nottingham, and another gold at the 1996 European Championships in his hometown of Augsburg. He also competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, finishing 12th in the C1 event.
