Vitalij Dmitrovič Pohodenko (born 1936) is a Soviet and Ukrainian chemist, an academician and vice-president of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He is a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, having submitted his resignation on March 8, 2022. He is a professor, doctor of chemical sciences, and has served as the honorary director and chief researcher at the Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, NAS of Ukraine.
