Lieutenant General H.L.V.M. Liyanage, known as Vikum Liyanage, is a prominent Sri Lankan military figure. He serves as the current Commander of the Sri Lanka Army since June 1, 2022, holding the rank of 24th Commander. Prior to this, Liyanage was the 59th Chief of Staff and has also held the position of Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force. His leadership roles reflect significant contributions to the Sri Lanka Army.
