Vesa Liikala, born on October 7, 1963, in Vimpeli, is a retired Finnish pesäpallo player. He was named Player of the Year in 1994 and spent most of his career with his home club Vimpelin Veto, as well as representing neighboring club Alajärven Ankkurit, apart from one season with Oulun Lippo. Liikala won the Etenijäkuninkuus title twice, in 1985 and 1994. After retiring from professional play, he has served as a second team manager at the Superpesis level.
