Vera Efimovna Sternina, born on December 15, 1946, is a Soviet and Russian chess player. She became a Master of Sports of the USSR in chess in 1973 and an International Master of the International Correspondence Chess Federation in 1991. Sternina was a bronze medalist as part of the Moscow team during the USSR championship among teams of union republics in chess in 1962.
