His literary contributions spanned various genres including poetry, narrative, essays, and novels. A close friend of Josep Pla and acquaintance of Salvador Espriu, the latter helped establish his pen name, Ventura Ametller. He contributed news articles to the Revista de Palafrugell under the alias Ben Clava and later settled in Mataró. Much of his extensive literary work remains unpublished.
