Veikko Uljas Viita (January 8, 1919 – May 13, 2008) was a Finnish writer known for his autobiographical novel 'Iivari vähäpuheinen', published in 1974 as part of Otava's 'Kertomus elämästä' series. He completed primary education and worked as a bakery consultant at the Raisio factories starting in 1958. His mother was Alma Viita (née Lamminpää) and he was married to Tyyne Sofia (née Isoaho) since 1938.
