He played with notable musicians during jam sessions and formed a band with Al Vega. Hart co-founded the Jazz Workshop, which became a prominent jazz club. He later opened Varty's Jazz Room, hosting famous artists before leaving the music industry to manage a supermarket chain. Hart's contributions significantly impacted local jazz culture.
