Evangelos Spandagos (August 21, 1940 – May 19, 2020) was a Greek mathematician and author, who graduated from the Mathematics Department of the University of Athens. He served in secondary education for 28 years, primarily at the University of Athens Experimental School. He founded the 'Aithra' bookstore and publishing house. Spandagos authored 165 books covering mathematics, literature, and history, and significantly contributed to ancient Greek scientific literature, making unknown works accessible in modern Greece.
