Valerie Collison (born 23 March 1933) is an English organist and composer known for her hymns and carols. She is best recognized for her work 'Come and Join the Celebration,' which features both lyrics and music, first published in 1972. Her compositions are widely performed in UK services and include 'The Journey of Life,' popular in primary schools. In addition to her musical career, Collison worked as a medical secretary. Her granddaughter, Martha Collison, gained fame as the youngest contestant on The Great British Bake Off.
