Václav Helšus is a Czech theater and film actor born on March 6, 1947, in Louny. After studying at DAMU in Prague, he worked in various theaters, including Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem and Studio Y in Liberec, before joining Divadlo F. X. Šaldy in the early 1980s. He also presented a serialized reading from the Book of Jizera Mountains on Czech Radio Liberec in 2018, which was organized by dramaturg David Hamr and director Michal Bureš. On March 19, 2018, he received honorary citizenship from the city of Liberec.
