From 2014 to 2022, she led the environmental NGO Ekologi brez meja, focusing on waste reduction and social mobilization. She directed initiatives like Clean Slovenia and projects on sustainable tourism and food waste. In 2018, she was named Slovenka leta and nominated for Delova osebnost leta. In 2019, she participated in European elections representing the 'Povežimo se' list and co-founded the green party VESNA in 2021.
