Unity Valkyrie Mitford (8 August 1914 – 28 May 1948) was an English aristocrat known for her close relationship with Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. A prominent supporter of Nazism, Fascism, and antisemitism, she was part of Hitler's inner circle. After World War II started, Mitford attempted suicide in Munich but survived with severe brain damage. Despite a safe return to England, she never fully recovered from her injuries. She belonged to the Mitford family, whose lineage traces back to Norman settlement in England during the 11th century, and her sister Diana was married to fascist leader Oswald Mosley.
