Ulyana Popova (February 6, 1911 – 1977) was a notable Soviet sugar beet grower recognized as a Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948. She began her career in 1928 as a worker and worked from 1936 at the Krasny Vostok collective farm in the Kalinin district, where her team achieved remarkable yields of sugar beets, harvesting 925 centners per hectare in 1947. She was awarded the Order of Lenin for her contributions to agriculture.
