Ugo Corsi was an Italian military aviator born in Pirano d'Istria on March 22, 1911. He is renowned as one of the greatest acrobatic pilots of the Italian Royal Air Force. Corsi fought in the Spanish Civil War and World War II, earning three Silver Medals for Military Valor and achieving three aerial victories before his death in Sollum on June 19, 1940.
