Turner Foddrell was an American Piedmont blues and folk acoustic guitarist, singer, and songwriter, born on June 22, 1928. He was active in music both locally and nationally, performing solo as well as with his brother Marvin. The duo recorded two albums in the early 1980s. Foddrell also often performed alongside his son, Lynn. He passed away on January 31, 1995. His contributions to the blues and folk genres have left a lasting impact.
