Tsumura Jūsha II was a Japanese businessman born on September 5, 1908, in Tokyo. He served as the second president of Tsumura Juntendo Co., Ltd. (now known as Tsumura Co.) and was instrumental in the revival of traditional Chinese medicine in Japan. He was known by the childhood name Kitarō and dedicated his efforts to promoting the importance and use of herbal medicine.
